We are looking for a result driven HR Process and internal control expert for our HR Process & Risk team to develop, strengthen and continuously improve HR processes, hereby supporting cross-functional and cross-border alignment. Today Action operates in 12 EU countries with several countries being added in the following 3 years. We are now counting 2’450 stores and over 80’000 employees. Efficiency and accuracyin managing changes and improvements require a harmonious blend of process management, project management, and process analytics. 

The HR Process & Risk team is primarily responsible to govern, document, analyze and ensure continuous improvement (operational excellence) together with our process owners of our end-to-end HR processes. We will look at both our international headquarters and our (more than) 12 countries, from an HR - as well as a cross-functional perspective. This encompasses key HR functional areas such as recruitment, onboarding and payroll.

As the HR process and internal control expert, reporting to the Manager HR Process & Risks, you will focus on implementing the improved HR process model, develop clear process documentation, assess the processes regarding key risks and controls, standardize processes across countries and HR sub-functions, and identify opportunities for process improvements Collaborating with process- and system owners, you will work on process optimization and compliance, to ensure our HR objectives are met. 

 

In a nutshell, you

  • support in implementation of the new HR process governance structure;
  • identify and document key risks & controls within the HR processes together with the process- and or system owners;
  • create and maintain high quality process documentation;
  • review and validate process implementation and execution and support in identifying process bottlenecks and improvements;
  • maintain the overall HR control framework; 
  • act as the main point of contact for process and or system owners and SMEs in each of the HR teams, incl all countries;
  • will have close cooperation with the HR project managers and process experts from other functional domains (e.g. Supply Chain, Finance, and Commerce).

The Process and internal control expert at Action enjoys stakeholder management! Because good coordination between teams is key for this role, we expect you to have confident communication skills. Next to that you have a solution driven mindset and it comes naturally to you to assess the existing environment and to spot the areas for improvement. You have a proactive approach, a sharp eye for detail and work on tasks with pace and sense of urgency. Moreover, a highly dynamic multicultural work environment is where you find your energy and self-motivation.

You also have:

  • Professional and intellectual abilities minimum at a Bachelor level
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in processes management and/or internal control roles
  • Familiar with process standards (e.g. APQC frameworks) and continues improvement methods (Lean) 
  • Experience with process management tooling (e.g. Signavio) 
  • Excellent English verbal and written proficiency
