As a Senior Business Controller Logistics (foreign countries) you will be responsible for reporting periodic results and KPI’s. In addition to  providing a view of the logistical performance you are driving improvement by supporting and challenging the logistical management of the French DC’s and supporting contract management and (re) negotiations with the logistical service providers.


Due to the rapid and continuous growth and transition of Action, we are looking for a Senior Business Controller Logistics – region foreign countries (FR) who can strengthen and support the team.

You have an important, independent and visible position to the French Logistical organization being a critical and proactive sparring partner.  At the same time you will be able to communicate confidently with the Supply Chain Director, logistical management of the French DC’s and other senior leaders helping to drive the long and short term strategy for the organization.

This is a varied role with tasks ranging from to timely, accurate and complete reporting and analysing of the logistical performance to supporting the preparation of forecasts, budgets and strategic plans and business cases. Therefore it is essential that you have strong leadership and communication skills both in French and English. In combination with a strong eagerness to develop and optimize the logistical control function.


The perfect candidate is a result driven person  with a clear way of approaching people , communicate very clear on certain levels in the organization and is willing to investigate in Action and will help to improve the performances of  various assignments in the logistic organization.

  • University degree, potentially complemented with Registered Auditor/ Controller grade
  • 8-10 years of relevant finance experience in large dynamic international retail/FMCG environments
  • Highly analytical thinker
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (such as SAP and Hyperion)
  • Excellent interpersonal (communication) skills and a team player
  • Flexibility and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced international environment
  • Ability to see the big picture while focusing on the process and procedures necessary to produce deliverables
