The main focus in this role lies on managing international HR projects and ensuring a smooth and efficient execution of HR operations throughout the organization. The HR Project Manager is part of the Human Resources management team and reports directly to the HR Director.
WHAT ARE THE MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
You will determine and translate the needs within the organization into tangible HR projects and pro-actively ensure a smooth and efficient development, management and implementation of these projects. You will support the HR Director in ensuring an internationally standardized and effective HR organization.
HR project management
You will participate in cross functional committees related to HR policies, develop project timelines, milestones, responsibilities and overall project plans for HR initiatives and manage those plans throughout the process. You will proposes project budgeting and you manage project budgets. You will manage vendor and contract negotiations in support of the projects. Where necessary, you will conduct focus groups and do other research in order to identify input to drive approach and direction of key projects.
HR Strategy and Policies
In this role you will participate in HR strategic planning and align HR strategies, advise the HR Director regarding HR strategy and HR policies and initiate and implement process improvement activities.
Compiles management information in order to support HR programs and projects, and plans and presents information to line management and directors level as required.
WHAT MAKES A GOOD SENIOR HR PROJECT MAANGER AT ACTION
The Senior HR Project manager is a seasoned all round HR professional with proven project management skills. You have a strong customer orientation, you are cost conscious and you are a real team player. You have strong leadership experience and good communication skills. You think and act proactively and you execute projects with pace and urgency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management in combination with minimum of 12 years working experience in an international environment
- Excellent English language skills
- Excellent writing skills
- In depth understanding of HR instruments
- Extensive knowledge of current trends and practices within HR
