In the IT department, the team IT Projects & Portfolio is responsible for managing and delivering the IT Portfolio. The IT Portfolio consists of all business initiatives with a significant Technology scope. These initiatives range from highly strategic and innovative to initiatives focussing on improving end to end operational performance.

Are you a senior IT Project Manager with strong retail experience in the supply chain or commercial domain ? Do you know how to manage a large amount of internal and external experts to join forces and work as a team? Are you a team player with eye for detail and able to work with executive stakeholders. Do you excel in risk management, business change and stakeholder management skills. Then Action is looking for you!

What will you be doing in a daily basis?

As senior IT Project Manager you help implement Action’s strategy by successfully leading and delivering the IT scope of business initiatives. You ensure the coherence of a set of projects under your responsibility and deliver the agreed scope within planning, budget and quality. You collaborate with stakeholders at executive level. Your daily tasks and responsibilities include:

  • The definition and successful end to end execution of the assigned projects
  • Managing the budget assigned to your projects
  • To select and functionally steer your project team
  • Proactively seek and lead opportunities to improve collaboration and our way of working


Who are you?
  • College or university degree
  • At least 8 years of proven success and experience in IT project, program management roles
  • Prince II Practitioner or similar certification
  • Broad Retail- or logistics experience
  • Proficient in relation, risk and business change management
  • Strong ability and drive for personal growth
